Grande Avenue Closure

Beginning on Monday, October 19, 2009, Grande Avenue from Mission Lane to 22nd Street/Starr Pass Boulevard will be closed to travel from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Friday, October 23, 2009. The closure will allow work crews to conduct underground storm drain work. After 4 p.m. each day, work crews will plate the roadway and remove the barricades to allow through travel on Grande Avenue.
Electronic message boards are in place to advise motorists of this closure. Residents that need to access their homes along Grande Avenue can do so via Congress Street.
The traveling public can expect delays when driving, bicycling or walking in this work area. For your safety, please observe all traffic control signage, message boards, and obey reduced speed limits.
