Bus Storage and Maintenance Facility
The City and Sun Tran are planning to expand the bus route system over the next five years as part of the 20-year Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) plan. In order to add more buses to the fleet, Sun Tran will need an additional bus storage and maintenance facility since the current facility is at capacity. The new facility will be located near Interstate 10 and Prince Road and will accommodate 150 new buses. Estimated completion of this project is mid-2009.
